This project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of staff facilities to enhance functionality, safety, and overall comfort across the site. Works included the installation of a new Staff Recharge Kitchen, full redecoration of 7 selected accommodation blocks with carpet cleaning and vinyl floor replacement in 7 areas, refurbishment of 23 staff accommodation bathrooms, including 2 communal bathrooms with repositioned shower cubicles, conversion of 3 laundry rooms into new bathrooms, and the safe removal of asbestos identified in the ceilings of 5 bathrooms, undertaken using specialist procedures.

Additional works included the installation of fire doors throughout the 7 accommodation blocks to improve safety compliance, and the creation of a new staff dining room. 

The completed project has improved the usability, appearance, and comfort of key staff areas, providing modern, practical spaces tailored to the client’s requirements.
