This project involved the construction of a bespoke oak framed extension designed to enhance the existing property and create a seamless connection between the original kitchen and the new open-plan living space. The extension is accessed via a short corridor leading from the existing kitchen, where the defining feature is a striking central oak roof structure incorporating exposed oak framework and double-glazed safety glass, providing a considered transition between the original kitchen and the new living area.

The main living space features exposed oak framework, solid oak flooring, a fireplace, arched window detailing, and integrated lighting installed within the oak beams to highlight and showcase the timber structure. These architectural elements create a bright, open space while emphasising the craftsmanship of the oak frame.

The works also included the installation of new patio doors, along with internal making good and full decoration works to complete the space to a high standard.

The completed project delivers a high-quality oak framed extension that showcases traditional materials as its main feature, creating a bright and inviting living space that enhances the existing home.
