This project involved the transformation of an existing bungalow into a spacious four-bedroom family home. Works included the construction of new accommodation, from foundations and structural works through to the completed build, alongside internal reconfiguration to create a practical and characterful living environment.

A key feature of the project was the open-plan kitchen and sitting area, incorporating a distinctive oast-style roof with bespoke exposed oak beam detailing to create a bright and characterful living space. Additional bespoke oak beam work was incorporated within the front porch, complementing the traditional design of the property. Further high-quality features included a Welsh slate roof, bespoke oak internal doors with custom oak locking mechanisms, solid oak flooring and skirting, and a bespoke oak staircase, showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the home.

Following completion of the main conversion works, a garden room extension was constructed to provide additional flexible living space and strengthen the connection between the home and surrounding garden.

The completed project successfully transformed the property into a well-proportioned family home that combines traditional craftsmanship, quality materials, and practical modern living.
